(DISCLAIMER: I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet!)
I have flipped through the pages and they all look delicious, some of which I actually pictured in my head!
Being a fan of both games, I just had to have these, and I can’t wait to test them out!
Do you have any fandom cookbooks?
I have two ‘Gilmore Girls’ cookbooks as well.
When I first saw the ad for this Hello Kitty Gamer Funko, I knew I wanted it as my daughter and myself just adore Hello Kitty and we are a gamer family so it was nice to have something with both our interests!
Last week, it was in stock at my local Game Stop, and I nabbed it before I lost my chance again!
She is just so cute!!
I saw this a while back and I finally found it at my local Books-A-Million store!
I love it so much, as Edgar Allan Poe is one of my all time favorite poets/authors. I even did a report about him in high school in which I got a really good grade on!
My favorite poem by Poe is The Raven and my favorite story would have to be The Pit and the Pendulum.
What about you?
I did it! I feel so accomplished! I drew for a month and I enjoyed every moment of it! Next week I will start showing the colored versions, so enjoy these last few black & whites!
Day 26 – Dark: I thought of a dark fairy for this one!
Day 27 – Coat: a cute fluffy coat!
Day 28 – Ride: I thought of a rollercoaster for this one!
Day 29 – Injured: Best I could do with someone with a cast
Day 30 – Catch: catching a ball
Day 31 – Ripe: As the last day was Halloween, it was only fair that ‘ripe’ should a pumpkin!
We are almost at the finish line!! Next week will be the end and will be posted on Friday,November 1st, even though the last day falls on a Thursday.
I can’t wait to show you all my colored editions of these, in fact I think I may start those on November 1st as well, a double post! How lucky you all are!!!!
Day 19: Sling – I got inspired by Zelda for this one. I decided to draw a ‘sling’shot!
Day 20: Tread – I thought of the tread of a tire for this one
Day 21: Treasure – I also got Zelda inspiration for this one, and I just had to include a rupee in it!
Day 22: Ghost – I just went simple with this one
Day 23: Ancient – I thought of the pyramids on this phrase.
Day 24: Dizzy – I went with a simple dizzy emoticon.
Day 25: Tasty – nothing is more tasty to me in the morning than my coffee!
I figured since it’s spooky season, I would share a couple of my spooky books, and yes, I did put all my vampire books in one section!
Some of these are books I have yet to read and/or are part of a series that I have yet to finish!
Have you read any of these?
What are some of your favorite spooky books?
This is about a beautiful land but haunted called Tarrytown and then to known as Sleepy Hollow.
Sleepy Hollow’s most haunted tale is th one of The Headless Horseman, a Hessian soldier whose head fell in battle by a cannonball, who roams the hills and roads.
Ichabod Crane, a school teacher, is facinated by all the spooky tales, and even talks about them with the elder ladies of the town, when he is done helping them with household problems in payment for his stay.
Ichabod gets chased by the Horseman, after a jealous man,Brom Bones, tries to keep Crane away from the damsel Karina Van Tassel, whom Crane has an affection for, by doing horrible pranks and sets the Headless Horseman after him!
What happened to Ichabod?
A lot of these were a little difficult but I managed…somehow!
I am enjoying the fact that I’m getting back into my art again and that since I’m going baacI and coloring them in, that are looking FANTASTIC and I can’t wait to share them with you next month!
Day 12: Dragon – this was a bit difficult! I’ve never really been good at drawing dragons but this didn’t turn out too terribly!
Day 13 : Ash – This will look way better when it’s colored in but this was also a difficult piece to draw. I took a little inspiration from “Life Is Strange:Before the Storm” and “Silent Hill”
Day 14: Overgrown – When I thought of the word Overgrown, all I could think of was vines! Then I thought what better way to add some vines, than on an abandoned castle?!
Day 15: Legend – I had a few ideas for this one! I thought of “The Legend of Zelda”, but I thought that might have been an obvious choice for those who know me…so then I went to my next favorite “Legend”, the legend of the “Sword In The Stone” and King Arthur!
Day 16: Wild – I decided to use a single wild flower in a grassy meadow!
Day 17: Ornament – I just went with a simple Christmas ornament for this one.
Day 18: Misfit – I have always resonated with people who are deemed “misfits”, so I used the typical stereotype for this one.
