Monday Review:The Thirteenth Tale-Diane Setterfield

I enjoyed reading this book (I realize I have said this phrase on every review thus far…but i haven’t read a book yet that I didn’t like).

It’s full of excitement, tragedy, mystery and wonderment. It features a writer, an author, ghosts, twins, a fire, death, a governess, the truth of it all and much more!

When I first got the book, I was intrigued, because it sounded a lot like another story I had read, called Inkheart, where it’s like a book within a book…but it was so much more!I was so captivated that I couldn’t put it down!

I most definitely recommend this book!

  1. Inkheart! I just brought that book up in a conversation yesterday. I read it a long while back and remember enjoying it (though, I never finished the series since I don’t think the whole series was out at the time).

If this book is somewhat similar, I might have to check it out.

    1. The Inkheart trilogy was really good in my opinion, I would recommend finishing the series for sure! The second book is called Inkspell and the the third is called Inkdeath.
The Thirteenth Tale is a bit like Inkheart but very different in a way, that’s sort of hard to explain, but I think you’d like it, if you enjoyed Inkheart
