Monday Review: Daughter of the Pirate King- Tricia Levenseller

This is a book I received from Owlcrate, and I really liked it! Pirates are one of my fascinations so when the theme was going to be based around ships, seas and pirates, I knew it wouldn’t disappoint!

Meet Alosa, she is the daughter of the Pirate King. One day, her ship is boarded by ruthless pirates who are looking for her! In order to protect herself, she disguises herself as just another crew member, but they figure it out and she is taken but not before asking to guarantee her crew’s lives, the Captain agrees and sends a ransom note to the Pirate King.

It seems these other pirates want more than just the King’s money, they want to know where his hideout is, however, Alosa has a lot of tricks up her sleeve, not to mention all the training she’s had to protect herself, but is she all that seems? Can she save everyone and keep her father’s location a secret?

You’ll have to read and find out!
